Nurturing Work Environments


Our providers are personally interviewed to ensure they have a pleasant disposition and compassionate bedside manner.

They also undergo a rigorous screening process which includes verification of license/certification, State of Illinois fingerprint background check, DMV driving record, pre-hire drug screening, reference checks, physical exams and up-to-date immunization requirements.


Our providers are personally trained in our academic facility, which allows them to practice their skills prior to entering the client's home.

To ensure that the providers are both knowledgeable and confident, they are required to take and pass a written exam following their training. This also helps to ensure our client's expectations are exceeded! 

Monitoring & Supervison

Our providers are employees of Sunflower Haven, therefore, we invest in their longterm success and longevity as an employee.

Our supervisory team conducts random drug tests throughout the providers employment and performs unannounced supervisory visits during random shifts every 3 months. Based on the findings and client feedback, we also provide ongoing continuing education activities throughout the year.
